Allow me to share with you our Saturday Ganap☺️ 📑🌻

More than crafting beads and promoting their crafts to the public we also want to cultivate women’s expertise in a variety of areas. Including life in general. And one of our Saturday talks is about CREATION CARE🍀🤲🌻. In this session, we shared about how we can save our resources.

We started in our yard. With the thought of the rainy season, we have moved to plant 🌱🫘 marigolds and other mosquito repellents 🪴 plants like lemon grass surrounding our dampa.

Cleaning and planting mosquito repellent plants are more convenient and bring natural beauty and a relaxing ambiance and vibe💚.

BANYUHAY - the Tagalog translation of Metamorphosis, beautifully captures this year's Buwan ng Wika theme, “Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya.”

Just as a butterfly transforms through metamorphosis, we too, as people, we undergo personal growth and change, with the Filipino language serving as our liberating instrument of change and freedom as we remember the use of Baybayin, our ancient days, and how it beautifully translates to the present times.

Change may be a scary thing, but let us remember that change can be beautiful too. 🦋

It is a delight that the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro is participating in the Cultural Communities Week as stated in Proclamation No. 250 from 1988. In this years theme, we are gratefulthat it highlights the contribution of our Mangyan community to the progress of our province.

The KAPASA Project, brought to you by Hands of Love Philippines Foundation, Inc., greatfully joins this cause as it showcases a collection of bead handicraft items crafted by the Mangyan mothers, from Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
