Giaprobahan sa usa ka panel sa Senado ang usa ka hiniusang lakang nga naghatag ug hingpit nga diborsyo base sa lain-laing basehan, lakip ang lima ka tuig nga panagbulag kon padayon o naputol, ug pagbuhat sa krimen sa pagpanglugos sa wala pa o human sa kasal.

Ang Committee Report 124 – giandam ug gisumite sa Senate committee on women, children, family relations and gender equality – nagrekomendar sa pag-apruba sa Senate Bill 2443, nga naghubit sa absolute divorce isip “legal nga pagtapos sa kaminyoon sa korte sa legal nga proseso.”

Sa higayon nga mahatag na ang diborsiyo, ang status sa duha ka partido ibalik sa single para sa tanang legal nga katuyoan, lakip ang katungod sa pagkontrata sa sunod nga kaminyoon.

LIVE: Usa ka public hearing ang gipahigayon karon sa Ormoc SP Session Hall diin pagatukion sa publiko ang gi-proposar nga ordinansa bahin sa pagpahamtang og abang sa paggamit sa septage waste collection vehicle ngadto sa mga residential buildings ug government institutions.

Ang author niini mao si 16th Sangguniang Panlungsod Member Lalaine A. Marcos, chairperson committee sa Environment, Natural Resources & Energy Conservation.
