Aged 13 years in exclusively Oloroso sherry casks, this single malt has notes of strawberries, jam and some chocolate. It reminds me of something like Pochi actually.

Nikka follows up their Coffey Single Grain whisky with their Coffey Malt whisky. Both were distilled in Coffey stills at their Miyagikyo distillery. The malt balances the whisky to not be oily and overly sweet. Moreover, the spicy quality from the barrels break up all of the sweet notes.
