Our Story

St. Francis Shell Station started operating a two island site in Uyanguren St. in 1997. After a year, it took over Ecoland Sandawa from preceding owner and continues to operate it until the present. A few years later, SFSS yet again expanded and operated another site in Sasa (beside Shell Depot) and doubled its volume in a period of one year. Subsequently, the company operated another site in Ponciano St. The lease for this site was no longer renewed and is now a Phoenix station. During this time, Shell’s direction was for Retailers to operate multi sites that belonged to a “cluster” , this meant that a retailer should operate sites that belong to the same trading area . Thus, we let go of Sasa station and operated another site in Mamay and Maa. A few years later when preceding owner decided to give up his site in Matina UM, it was awarded to us and we continue to operate it up to the present. Presently, St. Francis Shell Station operates 4 Company Owned sites namely, Ecoland Sandawa , Matina UM, Maa and Mamay.
