Daily life can be overwhelming – both in us and around us. Everyday is battle and that war begins in the mind. Yet our God is bigger than the battlefield and has won over the enemy. He is now building our character for us to depend on Him not on our own ways.

Longsuffering enables a person to bear adversity and makes them patient to wait on the Lord. When the devil finds that he cannot overcome us, he uses small daily challenges. It’s the long-run approach. The devil wants to wear us out, to steal something--
our connection and peace.

In the big picture, the Spirit has one work to do in all of us. That is to remind us to stay humble, wise, kind, and patient. Everyday.
