Relinquish the idea that you are only worthy/valuable when you are happy ποΈ
This is keeping you from having your own back during your worst moments. You deserve your own compassion too, unconditionally.
Consider this: if you are being harsh on yourself, itβs BECAUSE YOU CARE.
Think about it. Otherwise you wouldnβt even bother; youβd be indifferent about the expectations you have on yourself.
Deep down you just want to experience yourself truly shineβno?
Deep down you just want to feel really proud of yourselfβright?
Then remember this: abuse is not encouragement.
Quit breaking your own heart.
You donβt actually need to beat yourself up whenever you make a mistake or donβt meet your expectations. Instead, practice regulating your nervous system so that itβs not in a constant state of alertness & reactivity. Pattern-interrupt your behavior to allow you to RESPOND (not react) to lifeβs difficult days.
