MONDAY beach day with Suki, Marley, Lulu, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter. We spent more time adventuring through the back areas behind the beach today as when we got to the estuary there was a rather large male Sea Lion patrolling the beach at the entrance to the estuary, and we definitely didn’t want to mess with him! So after some fun in the lagoon, we made the choice to venture off the sand and head along the overgrown tracks exploring. Though it was hot, the dogs still had fun, though Marley was disappointed when we didn’t venture onto the beach at one point but turned left and headed down another overgrown track! Too many Sea Lions around sorry Marley 🦭

Action packed plus with the FRIDAY crew…. Scott, Walker, Moss & Nacho were on fire again, Milly always joins in when she wants and Baxter & Flash watch on wondering why these guys go so mental 🤪 We did plenty of sit stays and focusing in between the spouts of craziness during their two hour adventure, eventually they all ran a little out of energy but were recharged again after their water play in the stream. Very content tired pups on the trip back home.

I had planned on taking the THURSDAY crew a little further a field but Ravi, Murphy, Jack, Milly, Nacho, Moss & Flash got a little excited in the van (not Baxter, he just rolls his eyes at all the noise) and I couldn’t bear the thought of another 20 minutes driving with that commotion going on, so we took the turn and headed to Signal Hill, same place we went last week with this crew but they did not complain one bit, the LOVE this place!!!

A gorgeous forest adventure on WEDNESDAY afternoon with Arlo, Olive, Saskia, Flippy, Ruby, Flash, Flash & Baxter! We were joined by my good friend and her son plus their 3 pups Tilly, Taras & Archie bringing the total dogs to eleven. Such a gorgeous gentle crew who had the time of their lives. They were so happy racing around exploring that I didn’t capture that many photos sorry, I might have also been a bit distracted with some rare human interaction along the way 🤪

WEDNESDAY morning with Fern, Tui, Milly, Ruby, Nuk, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter. Such a fun adventure splashing about in two reservoirs and exploring the forest and bush paths in between the two……fun times for all 🤍

Milly, Scott, Timofy, Walker & Baxter had a blast at the beach for their TUESDAY adventure. Flash opted out of coming due to a sore claw 😔 It was only a small crew but I’m glad we had the beach and estuary to ourselves as these guys were very rowdy and energetic on this adventure, the beach always tends to get them all super excited. We stayed well away from the sand dunes as I didn’t want to disturb any resting/nesting sea lions 🦭 They were all a bit over excited today to chase a stick into the waves and for the first time ever Milly took me out and I took an involuntary swim myself….. very funny, I wish someone had been videoing 😂

Such a lovely forest adventure with the gorgeous MONDAY crew. Suki had a wonderful time on her second Fit Pack outing, this time with the full Monday mob as everyone is now back from holiday. There was plenty of racing around from Baxter, Saskia, Marley, Zeva and Cotton, Suki frequently joined in but also happily hang back and meandered through the forest with Flash and Lulu, such a lovely pack of pups 🤍🤍🤍

It was energy plus as we set off this morning on our FRIDAY adventure… there must have been something in Scott, Walker, Moss & Nacho’s cornflakes this morning as they were on fire!!! Milly, Flash & Baxter were a bit more subdued. I decided to take the extra long route today to help burn some of their energy, though they were still firing on 12 cylinders after a 2.5 hour adventure 🙄 I’m sure they crashed when they got home 😴

A crazy manic non stop action adventure with the THURSDAY crew! Murphy, Ravi, Jack, Milly, Nacho, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter were on the run from the word go; there are soooooo many rabbits about at the moment and they love to hunt for them. Nine tired pups for the rest of the day no doubt, job well done 👍🏻

A gorgeous day for a beach adventure with the WEDNESDAY crew with my daughter and her friend tagging along for some fun….Saskia, Flippy, Milly, Arlo, Olive, Flash, Flash & Baxter had a great time on the way to the beach and continued with more fun chasing sticks through the waves until a sealion appeared out of the dune grasses and starting descending directly towards us, then we made a quick u turn and headed back off the beach and through the very over grown tracks to the estuary where the stick play continued……very very happy content tired pups at the end of this fun adventure!

A full on action packed bush adventure with the TUESDAY crew today; Scott, Walker, Milly, Arlo, Olive, Timofy & Baxter were on an explorative mission spending more time off track than on. 2.5 hours of non stop FUN 🤩 Flash was ‘Dad’ keeping an eye on where everyone was and letting me know when someone hadn’t appeared out of the bush yet to join the others (he always stands and waits on the track looking back, and sure enough someone appears soon after) Flash is the perfect pack Alpha, keeping everyone in line and together. They were all very thankful for the numerous water holes today due to the warm temperatures 💦

What a glorious day for Suki’s first adventure with The MONDAY Fit Pack crew…..Marley, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter welcomed her with open arms, it was as if Suki had been adventuring with us for months, she fitted in perfectly and loved every minute of our forest adventure 🌲 It was so lovely to see Suki having so much fun, she has been through some tough times lately after being diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, but with the love and care from her wonderful owners and the ongoing medication she is doing so much better and is finally able to start her Fit Pack adventuring; we are so happy to have you on board Suki, you are an absolute delight, a blonde version of our gorgeous Marley 🤍

Welcome SUKI 🤍

We had a wonderful ‘get to know each other’ walk with Suki, Flash & Baxter this afternoon. A friend of mine and her little bear Leroy also joined us too. It was a very pleasant relaxed Sunday afternoon adventure with everyone on perfect behaviour, Suki will be a wonderful addition to The Fit Pack family and Leroy is possibly going to join too in the near future.

A soggy wet slippery adventure on FRIDAY with Milly, Scott, Walker, Nacho, Arlo, Olive, Flash & Baxter. It might have been rainy and exceptionally sloshy and slippery underfoot but the dogs certainly didn’t care, they had a great time racing around on an empty Signal Hill chasing rabbits to their hearts content up and down trails we normally have to avoid due to bikes, but with no one else around on such a miserable weather day we had the freedom to go anywhere and they had a blast 🤩

Our first adventure for 2025 with the THURSDAY crew! A gorgeous day to head through the bush with Murphy, Milly, Nacho, Jack, Flash, Flash & Baxter! Lots of crazy water play with the three stick mad hounds Murphy, Milly & Nacho, with Milly doing her usual stick hogging and winding the other two up 😂 Lots of bush exploring by Baxter & Jack! Flash & Flash stuck with me, with Flash the Labraspoodle doing some epic posing, he is so funny, jumps up on any log, rock, mound of dirt, in the hope of getting a treat; I come around a bend and there he is up high striking a pose, bless him. Baxter found a few possums which amped up the excitement. It’s always fun and games when we head down these tracks. Such a great way to start the year 🌟

A forest adventure on TUESDAY with Murphy, Milly, Scott, Walker, Flash, Flash & Baxter to end 2024. We hadn’t been to this spot for quite a while as the Forestry workers have been logging (in an area that housed some of our favourite tracks) so we ventured further today and looped around the newly logged area and found some great new tracks that will keep us all happy! So good to know we can add this spot back onto our list of places to adventure as we head into 2025, another fun filled year of adventures awaits.

A misty MONDAY with Saskia, Murphy, Milly, Flash & Baxter…..there were more rabbits in the forest today than I have ever seen, they certainly kept these guys on their toes, having the best time; all dogs have a natural survival instinct and they love the challenge of the hunt. Happy pups all round today and it was beautiful amongst the mist, I love a moody day.

SUNDAY with The Fit Pack hunting crew….Murphy, Flash & Baxter always have the best time together on the hunt for rabbits and/or Possums, they make such a great team! Murphy and Flash have a funny little relationship, always hanging out together and Flash is obsessed with trying to get Murphy’s stick off him, very funny due to their size difference.

DOG WALKING WANAKA & HAWEA

Hi my name is Rachael, a dog lover from way back, I have photos of myself as a toddler hugging random dogs at the local beach! In the real world I am a photographer, of animals and people, but ALL my free time is spent out in the stunning landscapes of Wanaka walking my little shadow Flash, a very friendly Jack Russell. I am always taking out friends dogs, as I am sure they would much rather be out with Flash and I than sitting at home by themselves and dogs love being in a pack, so I thought ‘why not offer my services to other’ and let their dogs enjoy a bit more fun with their friends. An active, well exercised dog equals a content, well behaved and non destructive dog, its a no-brainer really, so give me a call today!

Having spent the past 25 years photographing animals I feel I have earned myself an honorary degree in Animal Psychology! So rest assured, I have your dogs best interest at heart and will make sure they have the best time!
