We had a great bush adventure with with Murphy, Milly, Nacho, Scott, Flash & Baxter on FRIDAY. Lots of swimming and plenty of bush exploring on the hunt for possums. It’s always action packed and rowdy but a tonne of FUN!

It was straight into rummaging for rabbits on THURSDAY with Murphy, Ravi, Milly, Nacho, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter, though Ravi was a little distracted by a giant muddy puddle 🤪
It was the usual action packed adventure with this crew, tearing around after Baxter while he was hunting and chasing rabbits, and then being particularly rowdy at the pond. These guys always have the BEST time, such a happy enthusiast bunch of Pups!

It was glorious blue sky for our WEDNESDAY afternoon adventure with Flippy, Olive, Arlo, Lulu, Ruby, Flash, Flash & Baxter. We headed up through the bush to the more open logged area where Arlo sent dust flying as the zoomies kicked in, Olive hooned around in hot pursuit of her brother while the others watched in fascination, Flash from his perch up high on a log, one of many he posed on along the way. Such a fun crew 🤍

The sun was out in full force for our WEDNESDAY morning adventure with Milly, Fern, Tui, Ruby, Ruby, Nuk, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter….. ot was energy to boost with this crew, they were bouncing off the walls with excitement to leap into the water 💦 then they headed off with total enthusiasm into the bush and then the forest to have some exploring fun; finishing off back at the reservoir for more water play before heading home.

FRIDAY with just a little crew! Milly and Nacho had a fabulous time racing after Baxter over the Forest floor with Flash toodling along behind. Milly was hot on Baxter’s heels as he tore around nose to the ground, Nacho raced after them and then back to me, then around in circles and then from side to side; I’m sure he has ADHD it is impossible for him to go in a straight line or focus on one thing for less than a second 🤪

A fun bush adventure on THURSDAY with Murphy, Ravi, Milly, Scott, Nacho, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter. This crew are VERY water crazy so I avoided fuelling the fire by not throwing any sticks! They don’t ever need any encouragement and all still charged around going mental, except for Flash & Baxter who bark for a bit to join in the commotion but then sit back waiting patiently to head off adventuring. Milly proceeded to rark them all up by finding her own stick and then charging round like a maniac with the others racing after her, a rowdy bunch of doofus’ 🤪 The bush adventure was much more tame, except for one encounter with a possum burrow which proved much excitement, and the numerous water crossing where they continued to bark at me to throw sticks which I ignored and just continued on.

WEDNESDAY afternoon in the rain with Flippy, Arlo, Olive, Ruby, Flash, Flash & Baxter. The weather looked nice before we set off so I didn’t think the predicted rain was coming, how wrong was I. About 10 minutes in, the rain started, and it didn’t stop, we were all soaked through by the end of our adventure, but they all still had buckets full of fun. They were all grateful for their warm water wash offs and rub downs and Flippy was super thankful she had her PJ’s to put on for the ride home 🤍

TUESDAY with Scott, Milly, Moss, Marley, Timofy, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter. I thought the rain would cool the temperature down but it was still super hot as we ventured through the forest! Thankfully the grass and scrubs were wet which helped keep the dogs cool but they were still super excited to get back to the stream for some water play in the last leg of our adventure.

DOG WALKING WANAKA & HAWEA

Hi my name is Rachael, a dog lover from way back, I have photos of myself as a toddler hugging random dogs at the local beach! In the real world I am a photographer, of animals and people, but ALL my free time is spent out in the stunning landscapes of Wanaka walking my little shadow Flash, a very friendly Jack Russell. I am always taking out friends dogs, as I am sure they would much rather be out with Flash and I than sitting at home by themselves and dogs love being in a pack, so I thought ‘why not offer my services to other’ and let their dogs enjoy a bit more fun with their friends. An active, well exercised dog equals a content, well behaved and non destructive dog, its a no-brainer really, so give me a call today!

Having spent the past 25 years photographing animals I feel I have earned myself an honorary degree in Animal Psychology! So rest assured, I have your dogs best interest at heart and will make sure they have the best time!
