INTRODUCING A WORLD FIRST - Strange Nature, A true grape-based gin made from the spirit of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Grown in New Zealand’s famous winemaking regions, every aspect of our lovingly crafted gin is traceable. Unlike others the base alcohol to Strange Nature has true terroir, starting its life in a Kiwi vineyard certified through Sustainable Winegrowing, we can pinpoint the roots behind each and every batch. We found our origins in (or rather, out of) alcohol removed New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine. When the alcohol is gently removed from the wine, the aroma and flavour is preserved to create a fresh, vibrant white spirit grown from grapes. After 18 months of trials, we settled on double distillation with one botanical - juniper, what we saw as the most expressive style, a perfect marriage with our natural alcohol. Strange Nature bears all the quintessential flavours of its unique Sauvignon Blanc origins. Aromatic and fruity, it’s part tropical and zesty, part herbaceous. We are looking for a friendly and confident part time retail sales assistant to join our liquor store.

You will start to work along with a duty manager to get a good induction/training. You will be responsible for serving and assisting customers and for keeping the store clean, tidy and fully stocked.

You will be required to:
• Preferably have retail/sales experience and,
• Any background or knowledge in regard to liquor would be a bonus and,
• You need to be physically fit, as there is heavy lifting involved, along with
• Friendly, personable and have strong communication skills to interact well with customers
• Have a current drivers licence
• Must be able to work weekend and during summer holidays.
This position is start from 15 hours per week (for example: Thursday 4pm to 10pm and Saturday 1pm to 10pm), hours & shifts will be discussed during interview.

We encourage all customers to order online www.liquorland.co.nz, to eliminate the payment interaction with staff. We aim to get the order ready within 30 minutes, please wait for the confirmation email when your order is ready.

When you get to store, please form an orderly queue at least two metres from the person in front of you. Collection will be contactless and we will have a rigorous hygiene process in place. It is a Government requirement that you wear a mask and sign in through the contact tracing app. No customers will be allowed inside store.
