Happy international women’s day to all the wonderful women out there, but especially to all the women in wine! 🍷 As a male dominated industry it is so important to us at Vine to Table to elevate and celebrate the women who contribute so much to the wine world.

We have had a wonderful week connecting with lots of amazing women, from meeting & chatting with industry icons like , , and Katherine from at the Martinborough Pre-Harvest Festival hosted by Poppie from to showcasing fantastic women winemakers, Julianne Brogden () and Mel Skinner () at our private tasting event last night 🥂

Some other women who have also inspired us in our wine journey include the one & only , , Valerie at , Virginie at , Tamra at , Penn from , Tess from .salut.winebar and Loren currently at - as well as all the other women working magic in the wine industry 🫶

Raising a glass to all the wonderful women out there & looking forward to sharing wines with you all in the future 🍾

Wine has woven itself into the fabric of our journey, becoming one of the few constants in life's ebbs and flows. From travelling NZ top to bottom in our campervan, hitting as many wineries in as many different regions as we could in 6 months; sharing the enchantment of Waiheke Island as we worked at Man O'War together; WSET qualifications; celebrating each milestone in our life with a carefully chosen bottle of Champagne; living in a lots of beautiful places so Sam was able to gain invaluable experience at cellar doors across the country; embarking on an almost 4-year quest to figure out AJ's dream Chardonnay; adventuring into the exhilarating realm of opening our very own boutique wine shop & wine subscription service: to now having recently moved to Martinborough and be living among the vines! 🍇

There is no setting that would have been more perfect for us to say 'I Do' and we are incredibly thankful for the way it all unfolded 🍾
