Dashain festival is just around the corner, and it is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a dram of our finest 15 Years Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky with family and friends.
In order to develop its smoothness, rich textures and distinct flavour, this limited edition whisky is matured and mellowed in three different oak casks for over 20 years. The wooden American oak casks, Oloroso sherry casks and Pedro Ximenez accounts for absorbing unwanted ingredients, and in return imparts distinct aromas and flavours, giving this whisky notes of coconut, vanilla, dried raisins and tropical fruits.
During the cask maturation process, the angels’ share — the evaporation of spirit from the casks — has played a significant role in the maturation of this whisky. The angels’ share loss is comparatively high in Nepal, which means our whisky is more matured over the years compared to other whisky of similar age.
