Een vriend van mij rookte al jaren sigaren en nam me mee naar een tabakszaak in Brugge. Daar kocht ik mijn eerste sigaar: Romeo Y Julieta, No. 2. Hoewel het aansteken wat stroef verliep, was het een mooie sigaar om mee te starten!

Mijn mooiste herinnering aan Hajenius is de warme rokerlounge, die nu helaas dicht is. In de koude herfst -en wintermaanden hier een sigaar roken, goed boek erbij. Wat wil een mens nog meer? Dat en de warme ontvangst van de dames in de winkel natuurlijk!

A friend of mine had smoked ci**rs for years and took me to a tobacconist in Brugge. There I bought my first cigar: Romeo Y Julieta, No. 2. Although lightening the cigar was a bit rigid, it was a beautiful cigar to start with!

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐮𝐬?

My fondest memory of Hajenius is the warm smokinglounge, which unfortunately is now closed. I used to come here In the cold autumn- and winter months, smoking and reading a book. What else could one wish for? That and the warm welcome by the shop’s ladies of course!
