After our initial RADIO CHENIN launch during ADE, we’re back with the second edition! 🎶💥

On December 7th, we will be vibing in the shop with Leo ( ), spinning chill hip-hop vinyl. Followed by Kiiia ( ), a regular at Murmur and Radio Radio, bringing some next-level ambient. Julian’t ( ) is coming through with Latin funk and experimental beats, and Julietta Vendetta (.vendetta ), usually pomping techno beat as Intercell’s resident, is slowing it down this time with dreamy downtempo vibes.

Big announcement: CHENIN CHENIN is teaming up with the talented Japanese sushi chef, Ken Sakagami (.japaken )!

We have been chewing on this one for quite some time, and we’re thrilled to transform our shop into an Omakase counter.

Many of you might remember Ken’s much-loved food stall at Albert Cuyp Market, which he closed in November 2023.

Since then, he’s been perfecting his craft through exclusive Omakase experiences while quietly prepping for the opening of his new restaurant.

Like us at CHENIN CHENIN, Ken shares a deep passion for high-quality, honest ingredients and true craftsmanship. His approach to food is a beautiful blend of seasonal clarity, originality, and innovation.

Ken is known for making every single ingredient shine, creating deeply personal and authentic Japanese dishes.
We’re excited to host him in our store this October for four unforgettable nights. Ken will be preparing a 13-course menu paired with our finest wines and sakes for €120 per person. With only 8 seats per evening, this is an intimate experience you won’t want to miss.
