COVID 19 THE IMPACT ON THE FEMALE GENDER
Although this has become the norm now so normal, God has been so faithful to us all, despite the lock down human existence must be preserved and precautions taking in Ernest.
Regrettably women have been the front liner's both as Health Workers in hospitals, in communities as mothers and wives.
Yet the impact on women is heart breaking as abuse and violence against women have been on the rise, why some are captured others are silent,
In Edo state 3 striking cases has been recorded 1.) A man r***d a 6yrs old girl to death. It was recorded that the little girl usually visit the man in same compound as uncle' uncle, the man will give her 50 or #100, until this happened,
2) also the second is the Uniben student that was also r***d and killed in Benin, when she went to read in the church.
3) A pastor impregnated a young girl and when he discovered she was pregnant,tried to about the pregnancy and killed the girl in the process, took her to the road to look like an accident scene. Eventually the truth was revealed and he his on the run with his family.
The essence of sharing this is for all to be on the look out,
Please at this time information is key.
a): Never leave your young female children in the hands of neighbour's in the name of uncle, you never can be so sure, .
b) Monitor where your children goes and who they associate with.
c) Do not leave them to strangers.
If you see or hear something, speak up, let's look out for each other.
