MASCIARELLI Tenute Agricole was established in 1981 from the entrepreneurial intuition of Gianni Masciarelli, a symbol of Italian wine and protagonist of the success of modern wine production in Abruzzo. The beating heart of the winery is in San Martino sulla Marrucina, in the province of Chieti, and includes vineyards and olive groves, in all 4 provinces of Abruzzo.

Linea Classica range is today the most consistent and sold production of the winery and a sure point of reference for Masciarelli’s wine lovers. Faithful to Gianni’s thought that “a great company is recognized by its daily wine”, the range reflects the genuine taste of Abruzzo’s tradition and the qualities of its autochthonous vines. The screw cap allows the bottle to be easily opened wherever one is, preserving intact the aromatic fragrance without smearing.

Arneis means "rascal" in Italian, and is so named for its ability to beguile the most patient winemakers. It is a delicate white wine grape that originated (and is still primarily grown) in the Roero hills of Italy's southern Piedmont, just north of Alba ; it thrives in the chalky and sandy soil of this region.

Once nearly extinct, Arneis has made a comeback in recent years. The Arneis de Roero wines received DOC status in 1989 and DOCG in 2006 and production is on the rise, as consumers have come to appreciate its its distinctive apricot and tangerine aromas.

It can produce very good wines with perfumy characteristics of apples, pears, and a hint of licorice. The wines, usually sold as Roero Arneis DOCG.

Poggio ai Ginepri – Bolgheri DOC – is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot vinified separately and extracted by soft pressing. A nice wine with defined structure and pronounced concentration. The wine’s olfactory panorama is ample and profound while at once immediate and present. An intense structure characterizes this wine, but with a beautiful softness and a remarkably clean finish.

In 1997, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA, and Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle, Chairman of Viña Conchay Toro S.A., sealed a partnership agreement with a view to create an exceptional Franco-Chilean wine called Almaviva.

Since 2019, EPU was created, comes from the same exceptional vines and terroir of Almaviva, Puento Alto. Is the perfect introduction to the exclusive world of Almaviva. EPU means “Two” in the language of the Mapuche, one of the main indigenous cultures of southern Chile. The symbol is a reference to the Tupu, an ornament which expresses fundamental aspects of the worldview of various ancient Andean civilisations.
