Elya Tleuzhanova, originally from Kazakhstan, migrated to Kuala Lumpur in 2010 and three years later she married Stanley Chee. During one of her return trips from Kazakhstan, she brought two bottles of her favourite Georgian wine that was not available in Malaysia. In a house party, her friends loved the pleasant semi-sweet taste of the wine and suggested her to bring these varieties to Malaysia.

It was nearly after six months that she has got the company rolling and imported the very first batch of Georgian wines.
