A dram full of surprises, this Bunnahabhain is a showcase of delicate and rich flavours. On first whiff, take in the aromas of orange cake and ‘gula melaka’. As it slowly breathes and unveil itself, sweet dates, aged oak cask, and dark chocolate rises.

On first sip, discover the richness of golden raisins with an undertone of roasted coffee. This dram is filled with layers of flavours and as it opens up, nuances of aged brandy, figs and tamarind breaks free. This dram ends with a long finish filled with demerara sugar and baked tart shells.

A refreshing start with crisp nose reminiscing rainforest air. Sweet creamy vanilla with nuances of candied ginger takes over. Swirl the whisky and allow it to breathe to unveil gentle hints of dried herbs, maraschino cherry and marzipan.

The true spirit of a tiger emerges! Brazen with ‘fiery passion’, spices and black peppercorn for a show starter on your palette. As the flavours settles in, delicate milk chocolates and juicy pear emerges. All this closes with a the light waxy mouthfeel and a white smoke finish.

The Cragganmore distillery is a Speyside beacon. Operations started in 1869 by John Smith, this distillery today generates well over a million liters of spirit in annual production. Lightly peated barley and wooden washbacks are used in its production. Cragganmore Single malts are known for their sweet and fruity flavours.
We revisit this Cragganmore 20 year old Special Release 2020 by Diageo to 'relive' its fruity and distinctive sweet malty notes. Great way to enjoy the influence of grain in whisky making.
