Clase Azul tequila is a premium brand of tequila that originated in Mexico in 1997. The goal? Create a tequila brand that personifies and celebrates Mexican culture.
The process? The agave plants used to make the tequila are grown in the highlands of Los Altos de Jalisco. Weโll get into the production process in just a bit, but first, letโs talk about the origin of this tequila brand.
The founder, Arturo Lomeli, created the Clase Azul tequila brand in the late 1990s. Since then, the company has become known for its high-quality tequilas, which are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of eight months. You can also enjoy two Clase Azul mezcal varieties.
Clase Azul tequila is currently available in three different varieties: Plata, Reposado, and Aรฑejo. The Plata variety is the most popular (and honestly, the cheapest!). The Reposado variety is aged for eight months in oak barrels, while the Aรฑejo variety is aged for at least one year.
Clase Azul tequila is typically distilled twice and has a smooth, mellow taste. It is often served neat or on the rocks. Then, when you finish a bottle, display the beautifully handcrafted decanter on your bar shelf.

Taking its name from one of the signature botanicals, slowly dried Gunpowder tea, the recipe also includes lime, lemon and grapefruit. This will work best with a Mediterranean tonic water.

A 23-year-old single malt from Fettercairn that was initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, before being finished in ex-Cognac casks. The palate offers notes of sweet apples, almonds, pears, sticky marzipan, vanilla, plum and milk chocolate that build into lingering flavours of spiced pineapple, black toffee, sultana, cinnamon, pecan pie and mango on the finish.

The Dalmore 28 is initially matured in the finest American white oak ex-bourbon casks, which provide the perfect canvas from which to create this single malt. After an extended period of time, the precious whisky is then fully transferred into Grahams Tawny Port Pipes selected from the Douro region of Portugal to complete its journey.

The 15 Year Old gets its distinctive rich and exotic character from a process of selective maturation in which a proportion of the spirit is matured in French oak casks. In fact, we at The Glenlivet were one of the first to use French oak for making whisky, a technique that has since been imitated the world over.
The Limousin oak we use is cut in Franceรขโฌโขs Dordogne region, where itรขโฌโขs often used to mature cognacs. Its low density allows whisky to sink deep into the wood, and we carefully control how long the whisky matures in the casks so as not to overpower the desired result: a unique, pleasing spiciness.

Balvenie 21 Year Old PortWood is an exceptional Single Malt Whisky, expertly refined over many years to reach the pinnacle of full rounded characterful taste perfection. Malt Master David Stewart, who has worked at the Distillery for over half a century is responsible for crafting the whisky in a single distillation and ageing it for 21 years in port casks to enhance and enrich the full boded single malt, whilst preserving its original characteristics. To ensure that just the right amount of character is imparted by the port casks, he samples the whisky regularly. Considered by many to be Davidโs finest creation, this whisky is one of his proudest achievements and has won an array of highly coveted industry awards since its release in 1996.

REMY MARTIN LOUIS XIII COGNAC A truly stunning Cognac from Rรฉmy Martin. It is blended from around 1,200 different eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne appellation, and some of the spirit was distilled more than 100 years ago. This is a favourite of Elton John, Christian Dior and even Winston Churchill, who celebrated his election with it in 1951.
