Dalmore King Alexander III - Year Of Dragon Limited Edition 2024

Dalmore is undoubtedly the prize single malt in Whyte & Mackay's portfolio. However, this was not always the case. The blenders bought it from the Mackenzie family in 1960, as they were long-standing customers. Due to its longstanding importance to their blends, the distillery's single malt bottlings were limited to a 12 year old expression. Today, however, it is positioned as a luxury brand, working alongside brands such as Macallan, and recognized worldwide.

Launched in 2008, the King Alexander III was created in honor of the act of saving the Scottish king in 1263. This expression unites six specially selected casks that house a spirit of perfect ripeness. Whiskeys matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry wood, Madeira casks, Marsala casks, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques are all brought together
