Distilled at the Glengyle Distillery of Campbeltown, this very heavily peated whisky was matured in 90% ex-bourbon and 10% ex-sherry Casks and bottled with no added colouring, with a hefty 59.2% abv. This is the first Kilkerran Heavily Peated release that features โ€œSmall Batchโ€ on its label instead of the โ€œPeat in Progressโ€ in previous batches.

The third batch of Kilkerran Heavily Peated single malt is here! This cracking Campbeltown whisky was matured in a combo of 80% bourbon casks and 20% sherry casks, and was bottled up at 59.7% ABV. As you might expect from the name, this one packs plenty of peaty deliciousness...

Well-peated whisky here from the Kilkerran range, produced at the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown. This second Heavily Peated batch weighs in at a robust 60.9% ABV, and boasts plenty of meaty smoke notes all the way through. Wonderful stuff as ever from Glengyle.

The Macallan Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell, presents a peerless single malt whisky that has slowly matured over four extraordinary decades under the watchful eye of generations of whisky makers, until it has reached this perfect moment of maturation. This 2020 edition of Springbank Local Barley has been created by using Belgravia barley from the Glencraigs Farm and matured in 100% ex Oloroso Sherry casks. Bottling at a strength of 55.6% ABV.

๐‘ต๐‘ถ๐‘บ๐‘ฌ: Rather musty and with a lot of sherry influence. Dry, but not too dry. Sweet, but not too sweet. Whiffs of menthol to***co, b**g cloth and cocoa powder, as well as wet pebbles, a touch of cherry syrup, orange peel and gentle whispers of a floristโ€™s shop.
๐‘ท๐‘จ๐‘ณ๐‘จ๐‘ป๐‘ฌ: Extremely oily and very sweet with a touch menthol and soft, earthy peat. Molasses, cracked black peppercorns and charred lemon peel. Raisins, dates and macadamia nuts.

Springbank distillery is one of the last surviving producers of Campbeltown Single Malts. The distillery, located on the southern Kintyre Peninsula, produces three distinct types of single malt Scotch whisky.

Springbank is also one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step in the whisky making process, from malting the barley to bottling the spirit, on same premises: the other is Kilchoman Distillery who also grow their own barley. While a few others still maintain the first step in the process, the malting of barley (which is becoming much rarer), Springbank also bottles their own whisky.

This whisky was distilled in 2000 in fresh sherry and port hogsheads and matured for 20 years before being bottled by Springbank in 2020 at 43.4% ABV.

Founded in 1897, the Tomatin distillery is located in the Highlands region and is one of the ten most important distilleries in Scotland. Although its production is mainly intended for blends, the single malt versions remain highly appreciated for their delicate and fruity profile. The Springbank 15 year old was released in 2021 as part of the core range from the distillery. Traditional floor malting methods were used to produce this collectable whisky. The spirit was lightly peated and distilled two and a half times then fully matured in ex-sherry casks. For this expression, malt whiskies from Speyside, Islay, and the Highlands have been used, alongside grain whisky. Whisky was drawn from ex-bourbon barrels and hogshead, as well as Spanish sherry butts, then blended together expertly.
