The premises where now we have opened our new shop ‘a fine drop’ has been used as a warehouse for decades. The Mizzi family were wholesalers and used to sell the small grocers and corner shops that existed before there were any supermarkets. But times changed and then it was used to store 7up as they became sole agents for Portanier Bros. In 2001 Farsons took over 7up and we started stocking Fars

ons products. With the eventual entry into the EU, we started stocking wines and spirits mostly imported by Patrick Cellars Ltd, a partnership which we cherish. All we needed was a showcase to show our goods and now we have that as well.

THREE BRIDGES
MOURVÈDRE
2021. Region & Vineyard: Three Bridges Mourvédre grapes are selected from vineyards in the renowned Barossa Valley.
Bouquet: Black cherry and boysenberry aromas with a slight sweetness of brown spice oak.
Palate: A rustic style of wine, medium bodied with the black cherry and boysenberry flavours flowing through to the palate. Tensile fruit tannins help to integrate the wine, making it soft but sturdy.

A TRIBUTE TO CRAFTSMANSHIP
A delightful and vibrant tawny port with complex nutty notes aged for 10 years in seasoned oak.
About
Aged for an average of 10 years in seasoned oak casks, this wine represents a wonderful expression of tawny port - the perfect pairing for sweet pastries such as apple pie with cinnamon.
Tasting
On the nose, it shows complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. On the palate, rich mature fruit flavours, beautifully mellowed with a luscious long finish.
Serving
To be enjoyed slightly chilled. Once open, enjoy within 8 Weeks
