How it started....

Hi, I’m Kirsten a local Maltese artisan. Well it all started from when I was young I’ve always loved candles, different fragrances and body products. Even if I went on a holiday I still make sure that I carry candles with me. Candles change my mood, change the atmosphere....So I’ve decided to start experimenting and learning more.

I still remember the first candle I’ve my made, I started giving some of my candles as gifts and people started to like them. My family was always a big support for me from the start, when it came to the name I remembering having some opinions from my two sisters after some good thinking it was decided ‘The Candle Haven’ and my journey started there. The candles I make they’re massage scented candles which means they can be used as hand and body cream while it’s burning. Meaning while your candle is lit, you dip a little your finger in the burn pool of the melted wax and massage on your skin. Don’t worry it will be a nice warm wax. They are also certified and registered as cosmetics.

The effect they leave on skin is amazing even the wonderful fragrance they have. The kind of blend I use it helps a lot people who suffer with dry skin, arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, muscle pain and inflammation, chilblains and further more. The wax is amazing as a hand and body cream it leaves your skin so soft and smells wonderful also.

Then I decided to take a step further and work on more new products such as massage scented wax melts, fizzy bombs, fizzy bath salts, room diffusers, room & linen sprays, body washes, moisturising cream and more.... I just love experimenting with fragrances and mixing colours. I do have my own recipes and fragrances too. With over hundred scents to choose from, you’re spoilt for choice!
