Desde la preparación de la tierra hasta la recolecta, el trabajo del veguero es minucioso y apasionado.

Así, cada planta recibe un cuidado específico en tres momentos clave:

🟤 Aporque: A los 18-20 días de ser trasplantadas, las plantas reciben tierra extra en la base para fortalecer sus raíces.

🟤 Desbotonado: Cuando alcanzan la altura adecuada, se elimina su yema superior para enfocar toda la energía en el desarrollo de hojas grandes y robustas.

🟤 Deshije: Tras el desbotonado, los rebrotes o "hijos" crecen rápidamente, por lo que el veguero debe revisarlas continuamente para retirarlos y asegurar la fuerza de la planta.

Estas prácticas, transmitidas de generación en generación, son esenciales para el crecimiento óptimo de cada planta y contribuyen a la calidad excepcional de cada vitola.

From soil preparation to harvesting, the veguero's work is meticulous and passionate.

In this way, each plant receives specific care at three key moments:

🟤 Aporque: 18-20 days after being transplanted, the plants receive extra soil at the base to strengthen their roots.

🟤 Desbotonado: When they reach the right height, their top bud is removed to focus all energy on developing large, robust leaves.

🟤 Deshije: After the desbotonado, the shoots or “sons” grow rapidly, so the veguero must continually check them to remove them and ensure the plant's strength.

These practices, passed down from generation to generation, are essential for the optimal growth of each plant and contribute to the exceptional quality of each vitola.

“NEGORO” 1/10

First of a serie of ten unique pieces, with only one humidor produced.

Inspired from a 15th century Japanese technique, this piece is made of 22 layers of natural lacquer then 8 applied layers of cinnabar pigment. The humidor is finally sanded in order for the original pattern to be recovered.
The humidor shell, from Siglo Accessory , made of Spanish cedar wood is air-tight conditioned with a storage capacity of 300 ci**rs.

What an anniversary day that was!

From the growing and colorful Cuban ci**rs afficionados community of Cambodia to, of course, our very gratifying collaboration collection humidors between Eric Stocker
and our Siglo Accessory brand, we thank you for all these years support.
