FAQ: When will my casts be ready?

The age old question!
Well, once the mould is created, stone is poured in to create what we call the 'casts'. These casts then need to be left to FULLY dry out for 4-5 weeks (especially in cloudy, colder or rainy months !), and another 2-3 weeks to finish. During that time, I spend hours tidying and perfecting the raw plaster. After they are dry they then get sanded, sealed, painted, and framed as required.

I promise the wait is worth it!

💛Research proves that reading to children 👦🏻during the formative years up to age 5 brings many benefits. Some of them are:

1. Improve language and vocabulary by reading with them: This will stimulate a part of their brain that allows them to understand language.
2. Develop empathy: Reading helps them understand and share other feelings; some stories encourage them to understand different positions and feelings.
3. Promote creativity: Reading to children makes them visualize and picture characters in their minds, allowing them to create other stories.

4. To Enhance Their Concentration: Regular and consistent reading to your child improves their concentration abilities.

5. Boost brain development: Ohio state university did research that showed that young kids 🧒🏻 whose parents read them five books a day enter kindergarten having heard 1.4 million more words than kids who were never read.

Do not feel bad if you did not start this routine with your kid 👦🏻 , no matter how old he is; you are on
time to create this fantastic activity with your kid that will bring many benefits for him and allow you to have a great time with him.

Baby brain development is “activity-dependent,” meaning that every experience–whether it is seeing one’s first rainbow, riding a bicycle, reading a book, sharing a joke–excites certain neural circuits and leaves others inactive. Those that are consistently turned on over time will be strengthened and grow branches, while those that are rarely excited may be dropped away, like pruning.
