Our Story
(Japanese Follows English) Founder and co-owner, Michael Scott and his late wife Tomomi, started Tomei's in 2004 to bring the California wine style to Japan as well as the unique tasting experience only found in the California Wine Country. They visited countless wineries and began purchasing and importing directly from them bringing the best cost performance wines from Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Santa Barbara counties.
Now we are currently pouring our wines at The Warehouse in Yoshidamachi (Kannai) area of Yokohama, Japan. Here, our customers can experience quality California wines by the glass and by the bottle at reasonable prices. We also offer private wine tastings and live music on Saturday nights. Come for a visit between 7pm and 11pm.
２０１０年９月に他界した妻、知美とわたくしで２００4年に創業した Tomei'sでは、カリフォルニアワインのスタイルやワイナリーでのテイスティングを日本にいながら体験して頂ける空間をワインバーとしてご提供しております。さらに、お気に入りのボトルをご自宅でも楽しんで頂けるよう、ボトル販売も行なっておりますのでお気軽にお立ち寄りください
