岩手・三陸広田湾産の牡蠣の殻と身を使用した、ローストモルトと牡蠣由来の風味との絶妙な調和と、濃厚なフレーバーながら適度なフルーティネスがすっきりさせる後味が素晴らしい、アイルランドの伝統スタイルを復活させた日本のオイスタースタウトの代名詞。

Iwatekura Beer Oyster Stout(Iwate)

Using oyster shells and meat from local Hirota Bay, Sanriku Iwate, has an exquisite balance of roasted malt and oyster flavors. It has a rich taste, but also a moderate fruitiness gives a clean aftertaste. It is a masterpiece of Japanese oyster stout that revives the traditional Irish style no doubt.

Highly recommended, as always.

動物愛護団体NPO法人、HEARTへのベネフィットとして醸造された素晴らしいチェコスタイルピルスナーがオンタップしています。

2nd Story Ale Works HEART(徳島)

ボヘミアンらしいコクあるボディに糖度と穀物感、ダイアセチルを感じさせるエステルの各味覚要素と、スティリアン・ゴールディングとディアマントのドライホップによる若干スパイシーさも感じさせるフローラルなアロマが見事な調和を見せ、若干弱めな炭酸がマイルドな印書を与えながら爽やかに杯を進めさせる。樽ビール1リットルにつき150円がHEARTへベネフィットされる取り組みも含めて、素晴らしいボヘミアンピルスナー。限定醸造なのが惜しい。

好きなビアスタイルは時に批評的になりがちですが、このボヘミアンピルスは美味い。飲み逃し厳禁、オススメ。

We have a fantastic Czech-style pilsner on tap, brewed as a benefit for the nonprofit animal welfare organization, HEART.

2nd Story Ale Works HEART(Tokushima)

The rich body of this beer is characteristic of Bohemian Pilsner, with a sweetness, graininess, and estery taste elements reminiscent of diacetyl, and the slightly spicy floral aroma from the dry hopping of Styrian Golding and Diamant, all in perfect harmony. The slightly weak carbonation gives it a mild impression, making it refreshing to drink. This is a wonderful Bohemian pilsner, including the initiative to donate 150 yen per liter of keg to HEART. It's a shame that this is one off brew.

i could be critical of my favorite beer styles at times, but this Bohemian Pils is delicious. Don’t miss this one, highly recommend it.

ビールとワインの壁の越境をテーマに、ワイン酵母で醸し更にフレンチオーク樽で半年間熟成させた、りんごやキンカンを想起させるトップアロマに樽熟成のニュアンスが顔を覗かせる、落ち着いたフルーティネスと若干の酸味が正にビールのようでありながらワインのようでもある、境界線をなきものとする興味深いワインイーストビア。

Hansharo Beer x Ushiku Brewery Border Crossers Barrel Aged 2024 (Shizuoka)

With the theme of crossing the boundary between beer and wine, this interesting wine yeast beer is brewed with wine yeast and aged for half a year in French oak barrels. The top aroma is reminiscent of apples and kumquats, and the nuances of barrel aging are visible. The calm fruitiness and slight acidity makes it both beer-like and wine-like, making it an interesting wine yeast beer that lives up to the concept.

モルトプロファイルに拘った非常にクリーミーなボディに完熟オレンジやストーンフルーツ系のトロピカルなホップフレーバーが炸裂する、軽めなアルコール6.5%が飲み易さを加速させながら飲み応えもある、全体のバランスに優れたヘイジーIPA。

クニブル4周年を記念し、ブルワリーの看板ケルシュ「1926」で使用しているホップ2種にカリスタルプリネーターを追加した、透明感のあるエルダーフラワーや青りんご、洋梨に日本茶葉も想起させるノーブルなアロマがキレた飲み口に合う、ドライで爽快なブリュットIPA。

ノーブル系アロマがブーストされたBrut IPAという発想、その味わいが良い。オススメ。

To celebrate brewery’s 4th anniversary, they added Calistal Lupinator to the two types of hops used in the brewery's signature Kolsch "1926". This is a dry and refreshing Brut IPA with a crisp taste and noble aromas reminiscent of clear elderflower, green apple, pear, and Japanese tea leaves.

The idea of the Brut IPA combination with a boosted noble aromas and transparent taste brings really a certain taste. Recommended.

奈良にオープンしたばかりのFARMENTRYから、確かなセンスを感じるアイリッシュレッドエールがオンタップしています。

FARMENTRY MUXUM / OBVERSE(奈良)

仄かなフルーティネスと控えめな苦みがカラメル麦芽の風味や甘みを際立たせる、弱めなカーボネーションが紅茶のような風情も感じさせるそのマイルドな設計は、トップノートからフィニッシュまでブレないフレーバーが素晴らしい、ゆっくり飲みたいアイリッシュレッドエール。

新興ブルワリーは暫く様子を見て仕入れるか判断していますが、創業間も無い元Voyager西崎さんのキャリアに裏打ちされたビールには、確かなセンスを感じます。

日本にこういうビールがもっと増えて欲しい。

Newer brewer in Nara, FARMENTRY’s certain taste Irish red ale has been on tap.

FARMENTRY MUXUM / OBVERSE (Nara)

The subtle fruitiness and modest bitterness highlight the flavor and sweetness of caramel malt, and the mild carbonation gives it a tea-like feel. It has designed a wonderful flavor that doesn’t waver from the top note to the finish.

I don’t give a look to newer brewer without any career but FARMENTRY’s head brewer Nishizaki who is a ex brewer at Voyager has a potential and worth to check his idea and brewing skills from the taste.

I wish there were more beers like this in Japan.

Izumi Brewery Wild Thing (Tokyo)

Izumi Brewery's first Brett beer, made by adding Brettanomyces to brewery's flagship 3A Farmhouse Ale and aging it for a total of 1 year, 6 months in tanks and 6 months after being packed in barrels, has an exclusive grapefruit-like aroma. A well-balanced Brett Saison with esters, funkness, and acidity that harmonize exquisitely on the light mouth feel.

Recommended.
