“Having searched high and low, finally I realised that the only way I could give food free of poisonous chemicals and pesticides to my kids was, growing their food myself.
When I got down to doing that, I happened to overproduce and saw no harm in sharing excess with my neighbours. Delight and gratitude, they expressed motivated me to further increase production and make fresh, healthy and natural food a possibility for as many more family, friends and neighbours as I could.
I hung up my sailing boots and started farming. Having weathered many storms during my days commanding ships, normal routine life scared me no end. Challenges in farming did not disappoint me there.
