Today marks a new chapter in my entrepreneurial journey, after two years of intense preparation and many challenges along the way, I am proud and grateful to present our new product on Kickstarter.

Six years ago, I launched The Street Collector project (named King George Lamps for those of you who remember)
with a simple idea: crafting custom lamps named after Jerusalem's iconic street signs. What began as a small endeavour has grown into something larger, highlighting the profound connections people have with their roots.

I discovered the power of places, each street carries and shares countless stories of so many people all at once weaving together memories and identities though keeping their own unique fingerprints and power.

Inspired by these connections, I set out to create products that honour old stories and inspire new ones. Exploring vibrant urban environments, I started noticing how cities tell their tales through art, graffiti, murals, stickers, and posters on every surface. Artists possess a unique ability to capture these moments, revealing the soul of the city through their creativity.
This realization led to the concept of the Street Collector and new street lamp.
Designed to give artists a platform to share their narratives, it connects us with the essence of each city and its streets, allowing artists to inspire us at home. I worked diligently to bridge the roughness of the street with a high-quality, durable product.

Today, I am proud to present a beautiful, functional, and versatile lamp that embodies the spirit of urban life and welcomes you to share your unique story.

I’ve teamed up with over 50 artists worldwide to create the new and improved Street Lamp. A lamp that lets you collect and swap out unique pieces of art, just like swapping vinyl records!

I would like to invite you to explore our gallery of art and stories on Kickstarter

I’d love your support as we kick-off and we’re offering up to 40% off for the first two days!

Adding a new medium to my arsenal is pretty exciting. Working with light and shadow fits my style as I use black and white as my main tone. Light gives you a lot of possibilities in terms of depth and creating illusions with it is so interesting. It gives me new ways to experiment.

Our Story

It all began when as a third-year student at the Department of Industrial Design at Jerusalem’s prestigious Bezalel School of Arts in Jerusalem I had to come up with an idea for a personal project assignment for Prof.Gluzman’s metalworking course.

Looking around my hometown for inspiration I had my Ureka! moment. When waiting to cross the road on my way home at a pedestrian crossing on King George Street where I live, I noticed the street sign above my head. Usually, we take our environment for granted but the Jerusalem street lights are so iconic that I did not have to look any further for inspiration. At the graduation exhibition pop-up shop where students are given the opportunity to try out their ideas and sell them to visitors.

The lamps became an Immediate hit.
