It's that time of year folks where Baldwinstown Community Group do a hamper draw to raise funds for the ongoing running costs and future renovation costs of the village hall. The hamper is always made on the generous donations of locals and customers of our little shop. If you happen to have any little bits that you can donate, they would be so gratefully received. For example any store cupboard items, a bottle of wine or soft drink, biscuits, chocolates, a candle, any unwanted gifts that you'd like to recycle. Anything you can give will help build an amazing hamper which will be raffled Christmas week. Please spread the word for this fab seasonal fundraising initiative. Items can be left in Odlums shop 🎄🎉🎊✨️❤️

It's that time of year again folks. Yesterday we launched our ever popular Late Late Toy Show Boxes. The show is only 3 weeks away. We doing a limited amount of our boxes this year so please get in early to avoid disappointment. We are certainly providing the best value around with similar boxes, ours contain 14 items as follows...

What a great achievement this is. Tony has always been great to us from day one here in baldwinstown. Always at the end of a phone if you're stuck for advice on shop stuff or simple things like change. Businesses working together to help improve the service we provide. Huge congratulations folks

And just like that we’re 25!! On this day 25 years ago Bernadette and I started the adventure that is Geelan’s of Waddingtown. As I’ve said before, in that time we’ve seen a lot of changes in our personal and business lives. Our wonderful girls have come along and grown up. We’ve seen many kids from the area grow up, move away and maybe come back. Some of our dearest customers have passed away, leaving fond memories of the banter and craic we had. Hopefully we’ve given a few teenagers a start in their working lives and taught them a few life skills for the big bad world. We couldn’t have achieved what we have without the support of our fantastic staff through the years.From floods to snowstorms, pandemics to lockdowns we’ve had a few challenges but we’re still going strong. We would like to thank all our loyal customers who have supported us over the past 25 years and we look forward to serving you and “having the chats” in the future. Later this week we shall be having complimentary tea, coffees and sweet treats and goodie bags for the kids. We shall also have a draw for some great prizes on Saturday, so make sure to pick up an entry form all this week. We would love if you could like this post and share with any of our past and present customers, friends and family. Why not let us know how we’ve done so far but please be kind😄😄

Customers this is our last weekend selling our famous 99's and ice cream creations. The machine will be put in to hibernation from Sunday. Make sure to get down for your last fix until next March. We're also doing half price slushies to wrap it up on the weekend. We've got plenty of Richards pumpkins displayed outside for sale for the Halloween season. Get in early to avoid disappointment.

I love everything about our new seasonal veg stand. We are honoured to be selling some amazing organically grown vegetables, grown locally to organic standards without sprays, pesticides etc. Stock will vary from day to day. Today we had some yellow and green courgettes and garlic. They flew within minutes and we had to have more delivered.
You'll also find our amazing strawberries, grown locally for us. These sell out daily so get in early to avoid disappointment.
And of course Richards own new season Queens potatoes.

We have to shout it from the roof top. We are so thrilled to announce our beautiful staff member Debbie gave birth this evening to the most perfect little boy. Debbie is the glue that keeps Odlums shop together, an amazing employee, mother, partner and more importantly a friend. We absolutely are bursting with so much happiness for Debbie, Dan, Layla and Kade. We wish them so much joy and happiness. So many customers have been asking on a daily basis for updates which shows exactly how much Deb's is loved and respected. We can't wait to meet the first born Odlums shop baby.
