Well folks, as many of you know, we will be closing our doors this Wednesday the 31st of August at 7 pm. ❤️

On behalf of the Curran family and staff, we would like to thank everyone for their business and support over the last 20 years. We have made many friends and memories that will last a lifetime. It couldn't have been done without you all. 🙌

Big shout out to our wonderful staff, both past and present, for their hard work and for the many laughs we've had. 🤗🙈

We would also like to thank BWG Foods, MACE Ireland and our suppliers for their help and support. 🤝

We're excited to see what the next chapter brings for all of us! We’ll be sharing some throwback photos and memories in the coming months. ❤️

📣 For the attention of all fishing licence holders! 📣

Starting the 17th January until midnight the 11th May 2021 - Brown Tag regulations will be in place for the Currane Catchment.

A salmon cannot be taken unless the angler is in possession of a Brown Tag. If a salmon is taken both a Blue and Brown Tag must be attached to the fish.

There are 39 Brown Tags allocated for this timeframe.

On 10th January 2021, a draw will take place. Any angler who would like to be considered for this draw must apply to the email address below with their name, contact details and a 2021 salmon license number by 5pm the 8th January 2021.

Further draws for the remaining brown tags will take place the beginning of March and April.

Beneath The Visible is a young adult adventure mystery novel by Elizabeth Sheehan.
Elizabeth's father John Joe Sheehan was from Spunkane and she is often in the area visiting her many relations that still live here.
Liz did a lovely interview with Colman Quirke that you can find at Quirkes Newsagents if you would like to learn a little more.

It's great to have a novel such as this with a local connection and its an ideal stocking filler! We have a limited amount in store now. 🎅🎅🎅
