🚨 A Call for Truth in Keepsake Jewellery 🚨

I’m upset and angry today, and I need to speak up for the integrity of our craft and the trust of our clients.

At an exposition in Ireland, I encountered someone promoting their “breastmilk jewellery” among other products that I like to believe that it was their "speciality". Out of curiosity, I inspected their work, only to discover that the pendant they claimed contained preserved breastmilk had no breastmilk in it whatsoever. When questioned, this so-called “expert” claimed they used a powder kit from abroad to preserve the milk—an alarming red flag for anyone familiar with true keepsake artistry.

The “gold” pendant was suspiciously cheap. When I asked how that could be, they brushed it off as “cheap gold.” Let me be clear: there is no such thing as cheap gold. That should be a concern for anyone trusting them with their precious inclusions.

But what has me truly fuming today is discovering another so-called “artist,” (not naming=no favour to them). This "artist" was repeatedly stealing product pictures from genuine artists like me and promoting them as their own work.
Let me make this clear: this is theft and lie. It’s incredibly disappointing to see this behavior in an industry built on trust and respect for people’s precious inclusions.

If you steal pictures and lie about your products, how can clients trust that you’re handling their inclusions with the care and respect they deserve? Seeing my hard work promoted on their page as if it’s their own is infuriating. It’s not just an attack on me, but on every genuine artist who works tirelessly to create meaningful keepsakes. To you Kelly, and anyone else who thinks it’s acceptable to steal from hardworking artists: How dare you?

To my followers and clients: Always ask questions. Demand transparency. Look for proof of authenticity in the work you commission. True keepsake jewellery is made with integrity, love, and respect for your inclusions. Don't settle for anything less.

Sadly, the laundry basket only got halfs, so it's not relevant 🫣😵‍💫

The other day, my daughter decided her doll needed a makeover... with postage stamps! While it made me laugh (eventually), it was one of those moments that stuck with me – a mix of frustration and love.

❄️☃️How do you manage the cold?
My feet are freezing here in my studio, I've my decent temperature 20°C indoors but the cold coming from the ground is unbearable ❄️☃️ I had to come up with heating ideas as I'm working with hair that takes hours and I can't move while I'm working so the hot water bottle didn't work, I'm lucky to have this electric little helper ❤️ still I'm stuck on top of it 🥶🥶

How is your workplace? Is your home warm? I know that there were people with no electricity and heating I'm so sorry 😢 how did you manage? 🥶

Today, I want to share a heartfelt story about one of my incredible clients, a mother whose love and bond with her baby moved me deeply. She reached out, asking for something special—a Circle of Life pendant infused with her breastmilk and a lock of her baby's soft hair.

Did you know that I can cast your precious memories in resin or fine silver? In resin I can preserve any dear inclusion you may like, if it's your loved one hair, umbilical cord, breastmilk or cremation ashes, embryos, flowers or pregnancy test, whatever inclusion you would like to keep close by we can preserve it and place it in resin in a sterling or solid gold keepsake jewellery or in a resin ornament such as shadow box frames, snowflakes or silhouettes. They can be personalised in different shapes to suit your needs and trends. When we talk about fine silver, we are more restricted by the making process, so we can only preserve lesser dear inclusions such as cremation ashes and sand because the process involves firing the soft malleable silver clay to turn it into silver, its metal form, so hair and other inclusions could be used but they will burn completely in the fiting process. My returning customer asked a keepsake for her adults sons to commemorate their father. His nickname was Da for the most precious years spent with his sons.
