TRANSITION YEAR STUDENT AIDS BRIAN GREENE FUND
DUNGARVAN CBS Transition year student, Eimhin Ronayne from Stradbally has taken the opportunity to use his school project to support the Brian Greene Fund which is currently taking place.
There are a number of fundraisers for Brian such as the Waterford v Cork Senior hurling game in the Fraher Field on Saturday January 4TH at 5pm which is sure to attract the crowds while it is positive to see the young generation, in the person of Eimhin, prepared to benefit a good Waterford cause from the project work he has undertaken this year.
Eimhin is grandson of two sporting icons up West, Noel Cummins, Cappoquin and Roger Ronayne of the Geraldines. Eimhinâs own dad, Roger, played with the Geraldines in days gone by and he is currently involved in the Stradbally club. Eimhinâs uncle Donagh Cummins played with Cappoquin back in the day and he is currently involved with the Brickey Rangers club and his cousin Peter Cummins was on the Brickeys side that won this yearâs Cappoquin Logistics Premier Intermediate hurling championship and make the step up to Senior ranks.
Eimhinâs booklet, Deise Dream Team (of the past 15 years) and also a rising stars team of the future, is well written and produced and it will be a nice keepsake to have in future years.
Contact number for purchasing Deise Dream Team by Eimhin Ronayne is 087 6446047. Cost ÂŁ5.
