Well what can I say as we approach another Christmas , our 86th year in business, but my 25th ! 1999 I came to work here with Ollie , Daddy and since then have been overwhelmed with the welcome I have always received. I recall the first customer we had in the shop after we took over, Dolly O’ Dea, a long time friend and neighbour. I hope we give the same undiluted commitment to service, family, 25 years later. I can only wish the name Curtis has become a welcome hand of friendship and support over the years. Thank you for your support with the shop , funeral directing and the new monumental side , we are so overwhelmed with your support. Ollie, Joan Thomas, Jenny and Karen

If anybody has any empty gas bottles , any brand any colour they no longer need and want to have taken away 11kg and 34kg (red), I would be grateful , I have given out many with no empty and now I’m a bit short , thank you !

So doing a bit of family tree, this lady was my great grandmother, Mary Doherty , Clarke formerly Donnelly (he’s in the picture) she had 2 girls Kate and Christina he died in 1900 and they are registered on the 1901 census as living with Mary’s sisters family Jane and James Kelly and family of Clatterstown Ardcath ..,, any leads on what became of them , Mary went on to marry and had a further three , my grandmother one of them and died in her early 40,s in 1914. Does anyone remember their great grandmother Jane Kelly or her children
