*Achill Mens Shed* will be opened officially on this Friday, 31st May at 7pm.

Our local councillor Paul Mc Namara will do the official opening and the Shed will be blessed by Fr Tom Gallagher.

This is an open invitation to everyone - not just men!!! So if you’re curious to know what we get up to, you can pop down for a look from 6pm.

We are still welcoming new members so if you know anyone who might like to get involved, this Friday is a perfect chance to come and see our Shed.

It is early days and there is still a lot of work to be done. We hope to have it complete before year end.

After the official opening and blessing tea and light refreshments will be served.

Achill LGFA is looking for girls to join the under 10 football team!
➡️ Open to girls born 2014 and 2015
➡️ No previous experience required
➡️ Non contact rules apply to up U12 age group
➡️ Membership just €25 for the entire year
➡️ The focus is on having Fun
➡️ Parents welcome to come onboard too as coaches and mentors
➡️ Great opportunity to get to know other girls the same age before going to secondary school
➡️ First training session of year this Thursday 2nd May on Keel Sandybanks pitch beside the playground - 7pm - Come along and give it a try!
