🎄 Kells, We Need You! 🎄

Tomorrow is a big day for our town—our first-ever Christmas Market and the magical Lights Switch-On! We’re so excited to share this festive celebration with everyone, but we’re reaching out because we can’t make it happen without your help.

This is a massive community effort, and right now, we don’t have enough volunteers to get everything set up and taken down. From the market in Kelly’s Yard to the entertainment area up the road, there’s a lot to be done, including some heavy lifting.

We need help with:
🎁 Morning setup for the market and entertainment spaces from 9AM
🎁 Evening takedown after the event - 5.00pm & 7.00pm

Even an hour of your time could make a huge difference. These events are about bringing joy to our community, but we can’t do it alone—it takes all of us working together.

If you can lend a hand, please message us or join us at Kelly’s Yard in the morning. Let’s make this a day to remember and show what Kells can do when we come together.

🎅✨ Kells Christmas Lights Switch-On Timetable! This Sunday, 1st of December ✨🎅

As it’s an outdoor event (and Ireland would be perfect if it had a roof! 😅), we’ve put together this handy guide for parents who might want to come just for Santa’s arrival or to see their favourite act.

🛍️ Christmas Market: 2-7pm at Kelly’s Vets Yard, Farrell Street. Enjoy a small, cosy, and intimate market with unique vendors adding to the Christmas magic. Post your letter to Santa and snap a picture in his sleigh. A few surprises await!

🎶 Live Acts: Performances throughout the event (schedule below).

🎄 Switch-On: Don’t miss the magic moment—and see which lucky child gets chosen to light up Kells!

🍷 After the Switch-On: Warm up with FREE mulled wine (one for every adult in the audience!) at McEntee’s Off License. You can then browse the shop for amazing deals on Christmas gifts! (1 cup per adult, ID will be required)
