BACKGROUND:

Adare Beverages is a wholesaling company based in Galway City and it was founded by Galway native Padraic Conroy. Padraic set up his business in 1985 at a time when there were very few
wine suppliers in the West of Ireland.

We have been supplying the on and off trade
in the West of Ireland for more than 35 years.

PASSION:

Supplying only the finest and sustainable quality products.
We believe in the importance
of building a great relationship with our customers as we know that trust and reliability is
key to having a successful business.

CAREER HIGHLIGHT:

Collaboraring with Druid Theatre and attending the opening night of the play “ The Beauty
Queen of Leenane” in Broadway New York.
We were one of the first wholesalers to supply coffee and wine to
several theatres across the country.

SITUATION:

We mainly supply the pubs, restaurants and hotels with a wide range of beverages but due to Covid 19 the majority of them were forced to close so we lost nearly 100% of our customers.

FUTURE HOPES:

We have learned from 2020 and Covid19 that we need to expand our customer base so that we can still survive as a business.
We are excited for 2021; it will bring its challenges but it will be
rewarding to see our hard work and innovation pay off.

PRIZE:
