Habanos S.A. has introduced the Cohiba Siglo de Oro, a special release marking both the Lunar New Year and the 30th anniversary of the iconic Línea 1492, also known as the “Siglo Series”.
This exquisite cigar, measuring 4 1/2 inches by 54 ring gauge, comes in beautiful 18-count boxes, with only 18,888 available worldwide—a nod to the auspicious number 8 in Chinese tradition. Each cigar is adorned with a secondary band celebrating the Year of the Rabbit, and the ornate box features both the "Year of the Rabbit" inscription and a stylised 30th-anniversary logo for Línea 1492.
With the rise of counterfeit Cohiba, Habanos S.A. has added an NFC chip to each box’s inner lid, allowing for instant authentication via smartphone scan—a groundbreaking first in Cuban cigar packaging.

Did you know there was a Cuban cigar exclusively made for Ireland in the 1940s? 🇮🇪
Back in the 1940s James J. Fox in Dublin was one of the rare European retailers with access to Cuban cigars. Among the most unique offerings was the Por Larrañaga Souvenir Royal No.1. A cigar presented in a solid cedar cabinet containing two bundles of 25 cigars.
What sets this release apart is the “For Eire” stamp on the side of the box – arguably the first “regional release” in cigar history! 💚

1955 Hoyo de Monterrey Dublin Horse Show
Did you know that in the 1950s, James J. Fox commissioned a special cigar for the Dublin Horse Show? Meet the Hoyo de Monterrey Dublin Horse Show, first released in 1955. 🐎✨
This rare Diadema, over 9 inches long with a 55-ring gauge, came in a dress box of 5 cigars, each wrapped in starred silver foil and housed in its own individual coffin. Only one batch was ever made, available in our shop until the late '60s.

JJ Corry brought something really rare to the market – The Chosen is a 27-year-old (!) single cask release of Irish whiskey.
Distilled in 1991, The Chosen stands as a remarkable representation of Irish Single Malt whiskey. Over the course of 27 years, it matured undisturbed, reaching the pinnacle of its distinctive character. Bottled at its original cask strength, The Chosen proudly displays the very best that Irish Whiskey has to offer.
Each bottle, or rather each decanter, is a work of art in its own right – made by hand by J. Hill's Standard, one of Ireland's most esteemed glassmakers.
Only 100 bottles made, the one in our stock is no. 25 🤓

Say hi to two new Atlantic-aged whiskey releases from Skellig Six18 Distillery – including part of the Skellig Six18 Step Collection!
➡️ Small Batch – a premium blend of Pot Still and Grain Irish Whiskey, finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks after an initial maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels, with casks carefully chosen from those maturing at the Skellig Six18 maturation warehouse.
➡️ Single Pot Still (Six18 Step Collection) – matured in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks in homage to the centuries of maritime trade between the Skellig Coast and European ports, which often saw boats passed the Skellig Rocks carrying sherry from the bodegas of Jerez.
