This low alcohol Vinho Verde is the first with denomination ATLANTIC COAST VINEYARD WINE.

It comes from vineyards 15km close to Atlantic. Those conditions create acidic but subtle, fresh and fruity wines, and Azahar is the perfect example of what the region is capable of.

Wine Buff Cork

The Wine Buff Cork opened in June 2002 and was located at the old Post Office on Washington Street, in 2011 we moved lock, stock and barrel to our new premises on Oliver Plunkett St (just next to the intersection of Princess St) and a stones throw from the English Market.

Manager Katrin McDonnell’s first encounter with wine was picking grapes as a teenager and over the years has developed a keen interest in all things wine. Her favourites would be Bordeaux St Emilion and for the special occasions you can't beat a Barolo.
