On Saturday 25th May 2024, the Donegal v Tyrone GAA Senior Football Championship match will take place in Ballybofey. A crowd in the region of 20,000 people is expected in the town. Throw-in is at 7:15pm with gates open 5:15pm.
Please expect traffic delays both before and after the match. While we endeavour to assist traffic movement as much as possible, the large numbers will result in unavoidable delays. Adding additional time for your journey is advised.
Parking will be available in several car parks around the town. Please utilise these areas fully. With such large attendance, any vehicles causing an obstruction will be towed. This will be done to ensure a free flow of traffic pre and post match.
Gardaí, Front line security and stewards will be restricting access at barrier locations. Only match ticket holders will be permitted access past these barriers. Please note no alcohol is permitted past the barriers or inside the grounds.
Only vehicles with an official pass will be permitted access to car park at Mac Cumhaill Park main entrance. Limited parking for Blue Badge holders is available at car park at stand entrance (behind Villa Rose hotel). Vehicle access to this car park and the 'Back Road' will be restricted at Jackson’s Hotel to only hotel guests and Blue Badge holders. Once full there will be no vehicle access to this area. There is limited disabled parking on the Main Street and in car parks in the vicinity of the grounds.
Please follow directions of Gardaí and stewards in the area. We hope everyone has an enjoyable evening and best of luck to both teams!

Frenchic - A rich, creamy, chalk and mineral paint - perfect for projects inside and out. I've just finished a table and dresser in Black Forest which is the most beautiful dark green in colour. I've also just purchased a little sander - nothing is safe in the house now!! My next project is a really old chair which was given to me by Joe's mum, Bernie. It has layers of dark varnish and I can't wait to get it stripped back, firstly to see what the wood is underneath and then to choose a colour or perhaps a wax, depending on what is lurking beneath....I'll keep you posted x

When the final whistle was blown in the game between Bray Wanderers and Finn Harps on Friday 20th October 2023, it brought to an end Finn Harps Football Club’s 2002nd competitive game in senior football and also drew the curtain on the club’s 55th season in the League of Ireland.
Over those fifty-five seasons, 628 players have donned the shirt and played for the club. Whether it was Jonathan Minnock who appeared in 485 games or the seventy-three players who managed to see action in just a single game each, all have contributed to the history of the club over it’s first fifty-five years in senior football.
WE ARE THE HARPS profiles each of those 628 players and also gives a season by season breakdown of their appearances, goals scored, etc. Milestone appearances are included as well as clean sheet records for each of the goalkeepers. And it’s not just the players. Each of the Managers from Patsy McGowan, who led Finn Harps into senior football, right up to Darren Murphy who was there at the end of the 2023 season are included. From the famous to the infamous, they can all be found in this book and this is a record of their offering to Harps. Nowhere before has a record of those who have played and managed the club been gathered and presented in one place.
Researched and written by lifelong Finn Harps supporters Joe Doherty and Bartley Ramsay, this book is a history of those who have represented the club on the pitch since 1969.

My Bank Holiday weekend project!
This table was covered in marker drawings and pen marks!!!! Mm, wonder how that happened 😂
I had an opened tin of Frenchic Black Forest so I decided to give it a whirl! I’m quite chuffed with it actually 😜
I washed it down with sugar soap, gave it a very light sand, two coats of Black Forest and finished off with Finishing Coat!
And Voila!
We have loads of beautiful colours in stock and if you haven’t heard of Frenchic paint, pop in for a chat! It’s a bit like the baking and recipes - I could chat about it all day 😂
