• Tequila Blanco is also sometimes referred to as silver tequila. This variety of tequila is considered the purest form of tequila, as it is typically bottled directly after distillation

• Tequila reposado refers to a slightly aged tequila — reposado translates to “rested” in Spanish. Just like tequila blanco, tequila reposado is made from the blue agave plant, which is fermented and then distilled

• Tequila añejo is a tequila that has been aged one to four years — añejo translates to “vintage” or “old” in Spanish. This variety of tequila is aged in American or French oak barrels, has a dark amber color, and has notes of oak, vanilla, and caramel

• Tequila extra añejo has a very dark amber color, and typically has flavors of oak and vanilla as well as spices like cinnamon. Some types of añejo tequilas might be marketed as “sipping tequilas” because they are produced in small quantities and tend to be expensive, so they are considered special-occasion drinks

The P**n Star Martini isn’t just any drink; it’s a colorful, exciting mix that will take your taste buds on a trip. Its unusual combination of sweet and sour tastes makes it ideal for adventurers who want to try something different

This drink is so good that I’ll show you how to prepare it at home and why you should!

Ingredients
⚬ 1 1/2 oz. vanilla flavored vodka
⚬ 1/2 oz passion fruit liqueur
⚬ 1 oz passion fruit juice
⚬ 1/2 oz lime juice
⚬ 1/2 oz vanilla simple syrup
⚬ Half a passion fruit (for garnish)
⚬ Sparkling wine (on the side)

Instructions
➤ Chill your martini glass (pop it in the freezer for a bit).
➤ In a shaker, add ice, vanilla vodka, passion fruit liqueur, passion fruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
➤ Shake it up until well mixed and chilled.
➤ Strain into your chilled glass.
➤ Garnish with half a passion fruit on top.
➤ Serve with a shot of sparkling wine on the side.
