This week’s selection: Villányi Franc 2015 from Stier Pincészet in the Villány Region

This is a full-bodied, über-concentrated, yet very classy Cabernet Franc. Pronounced aromas of blackberries and raspberries merge with a nice touch of vanilla from the barrel alongside earthy notes of to***co and autumn leaves. 🍇🫐 🪵🍂

It strikes a great balance between vibrant fruitiness and aged complexity. The oak is beautifully integrated and supports the wine’s intense fruit and body, while the tannins are silky smooth and bring about a long and elegant finish. 🍷🇭🇺
