Founded by a Singaporean who has been living in Zagreb for over 3 years, she enjoys čevapi, štrukli and other Croatian foods but sometimes, she craves for a taste of home. Fuelled by travel restrictions during the pandemic and lack of variety of Asian food supplies available here, she began sourcing for ingredients and recreating Asian cuisine. Realizing the increasing popularity of Asian food, th

e mission of our webshop is to introduce and promote the different types of Asian cuisine available. Kaki is a Singaporean slang, derived from the malay language, which means leg, but commonly used to refer to close friends or buddies. Rice + kakis = enjoying Asian cuisine with your buddies, and that’s how Rice Kakis was born.
