Archipelago Botanical Gin

This is the flagship artisanal Archipelago Gin, handcrafted from 28 botanicals, 22 of which are sourced and foraged across the Philippines. Tropical and complex.

Coriander seed, pine and huge tropical mango and pomelo greet the nose. Hints of lemongrass with lots of citrus bust as you sip, followed by pine and toasted caramel with a pinch of cinnamon.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Fresh highlights of pomelo and calamansi, with earthy coriander, savory juniper, pine and a rounding of mango. Hints of perfumed lavender.
Palate

Fresh pomelo, dalandan and calamansi, pine juniper spice. Floral dryness from the angelica and chamomile, with notes of lemongrass, cinnamon and black pepper.

Clean and balanced, with cooling notes from lemon balm and cardamom.

The Macallan A Night On Earth – The Journey

The Macallan A Night On Earth – The Journey, represents New Year celebrations around the globe and pays tribute to the home of Chinese artist, Nini Sum, who designed the packaging for this expression. Nini Sum is a multi-media artist from Nanjing who co-founded the first independent screen printing studio in China. Of her designs for the packaging of the Macallan An Night On Earth – The Joruney, Sum says:

“[t]he steam coming off hot food during the New Year dinner is one of the most vivid ‘home’ feelings I remember. I wanted to re-create that atmosphere, those precious moments of gathering and reunion under a bright moon bringing us all together”.

Much like the Macallan A Night On Earth In Scotland, the packaging is unique and multi-layered. Different colours and images dominate each layer, evoking a journey from a cityscape into the countryside and ending with firework explosions to ring in the New Year.

the Night On Earth In Scotland, The Journey is an NAS whisky, bottled at 43%.

The tasting notes for this release feature rice and coconut pudding and vanilla on the nose, with citrus fruits, vanilla sponge, and toasted coconut on the palate. The finish is medium and sweet with hints of vanilla.
