Northern Ireland’s Ninth Wave Irish Gin, produced at the Hinch Distillery in county Down, has become the ‘World’s Most Highly Awarded Gin in 2020’.

In Irish mythology, the Ninth Wave is a giant wave that separates the Earth from the home of the Irish Sea God "Mac Lir", known as ”Otherworld”. Only those who can conquer the Nine Wave will reach the place of eternal youth. Therefore, the Hinch Distillery decided to name the gin after it and here is the Nine Wave Gin.

9 Botanicals with Lemon Verbena prominent and juniper light in the final blend – 100% Wheat Derived Grain Neutral Spirit.
Nose is rich and smooth, a hint of vanilla followed by Juniper and citrus.
Palate is soft, gently finishing with light pepper and citrus.
