Last day on Santorini we visited one of "The Worlds Top 100 wineries", Vassaltis Vineyards. We met them in 2015, when they were still unknown, and have had them from day one in our shop. Made their first wine in 2014 and now only 8 years later, they have achieved to become one of the 3 Greek wineries in "The Worlds Top 100 wineries". Had an amazing guided tour by Artemis and the house cat Vassanos, who has given name to one of their wines. We almost took him with us!😂
Congratulations Team Vassaltis for an amazing achievement and thank you for a good collaboration all these years.

3rd day on Santorini with a fabulous visit to Santo Wines, the biggest winery on Santorini. The cooperative has existed since 1911 and we were treated with an extended tour of their impressive 4 level winery. Anastasios thoroughly told us all there is to know about the Assyrtiko grape and their wonderful wines. Even tried an amazing red made on Mavrodragano, and a sparkling made on Assyrtiko, which will be added to our selection of Santo Wines in our shop🍾🥂🍷

Second day on Santorini visiting Estate Argyros, the largest privately owned vineyard on Santorini, now run by 5th generation. Dimitris was very knowledgeable and informative down to every details of the wine production. The harsh weather and the volcanic soil create challenging conditions for winemaking.
Ended our visit trying their stunning white wines and amazing sweet wine -Vinsanto.

First day on Santorini visiting a new innovative microbrewery Ftelos Brewery. Magnificent set-up and facilities with tasting rooms, cooking classes and lots of in depth information about their brewery. The philosophy is that nothing goes to waste, which was even shown in the bathroom😃
Thank you for an excellent tasting experience. We are expecting the beers in our shop very soon.
