An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time position at the new Banking Hub soon to be open in Acomb. Offering basic banking services and dedicated Community Bankers, the Hub will be initially based at Explore Library on Front Street in Acomb.

Hours are to be agreed and will involve ultimately working in the permanent hub which will open later in the year at the existing Halifax Bank site.

The job role will involve:
Assisting customers with everyday banking
Operating the Post Office system
Meeting and greeting customers
Organising cash remittances
ATM operations

Applicants ahould be over the age of 18 and whilst full training will be given, previous experience in cash handing and a good knowledge of maths would be an advantage.

We are looking forward to being able to bring the new Banking Hub to Acomb.
It is now confirmed that we will be opening a temporary hub in the Acomb Explore Library initially whilst the permanent Hub is located in the existing Halifax building.

Due to open March, the temporary hub will offer all the services that the permanent one will bring, including community bankers from a range of the major banks.

The permanent hub will be open once converted when the existing Halifax branch closes.

Remember, our Post Office already offers all the banking services that the hub will bring (aside from the community banking) This includes
