Woohoo! There's alot happening at the Bottle & Jug! With the imminent arrival of not 1 but 2 (😲) new fridges, we're bringing in some great new stock to boot! 💪🏽

Dark Revolution is a Wiltshire-based brewery that is innovative, all about quality ingredients, and a firm favourite at our sister biz 🦊🦜
We've now got three of their superb beers at the Jug for you :
●It's My Party, a 5.9% Hazy DDH Pale ~ thick, sumptuous, and super pale... immense citrus lemon 🍋 apricot 🍑 and tropical fruit 🍍 finished with subtile lime 🍋🟩 basil and rosemary 🍃🌱
●Day Dreamer, a 5% Hazy Pale ~ stronger & hoppier than usual, think tropical fruit 🍉, pine 🌲 black tea ☕️ and White wine 🥂 Hazy as milk, smooth as silk!
●Close Encounters, a 6.5% IPA ~ Azzaca & Eldorado hops, fruity vibes of mango 🥭 grapefruit 🍈and apricot 🍑

We made a really good curry on Monday and called it 'Sunshine Curry' because everything that went in it was yellow, orange or red ☀️
Seemed rude not to, so we cracked open a bottle of .co.za Khakibos, which we think pairs with curry like a damn dream ☁️👌🏽
Khakibos is a South African white wine made by an award winning female maker 💪🏽🍇 from a blend of Verdelho, Chenin Blanc, Palomino, Alvarhino, and Fernao Pires grapes.
It's balanced, clean, fresh, full-bodied with a long finish 💦 has a lovely mineral streak and some mouthwatering acidity 🍋 Think ripe apples, melon, pineapple and apricot with a dash of butter, honey 🍯 and orange blossom 🌸 Yum 😋 🥂

We have created this business to share our love for quality drinks, whether that be real ales or biodynamic wines from all over the globe. Our mission is to bring something new and exciting to the people of Worthing, giving them greater choice when it comes to their favourite tipple.
If you are tired of the usual table plonk or limited craft beer range at your local supermarket then we are the people to speak to. We aim to stock some of the best beers, wines and spirits that we can source, seeking to do something a little different from the norm. Whether you are seeking out the latest craft beer collaboration or are someone looking for that special bottle of wine for an occasion, we aim to please.
The Bottle and Jug Dept. is all about inclusiveness and a desire to share our passion for quality with our customer. It doesn’t matter if you do not know your Burgundy from your Bordeaux or your sour from your saison; we are here to help you choose the right product based on what you like.
Our wines are mainly from low intervention and natural producers who either practice or are certified as organic and/or biodynamic. Naturally produced wines use grapes that have been grown without the use of chemical pesticides and little or no sulfur is added during the wine making process. Many people are sensitive to the chemicals used in commercial wine making without realising, and can have a reaction to them. We believe the wines we sell have a much cleaner and more natural style that accurately reflects the terroir of their region and the natural flavour of the grapes used.
Where many modern bottle shops place craft beers ahead of real ales we see them as equals, and as products that complement each other. As such we stock a fine selection of bottled real ales alongside the craft beer offering, showcasing the fantastic products that local and national producers are creating. We endeavour to support local and independent producers as much as possible, but not exclusively. When a beer is great it doesn’t matter who has made it, we will want to stock it. We are fans of beer, no matter what its origin.
