A different kind of Joosy. Unbarred are good at this. A Blood Orange IPA. It’s as you’d expect from an Unbarred IPA - all the Joose but with added Juice. Spring smasher we reckon.

Fields Forever... Indeed, and what a trio we have in the fridges for Beak's Field's LAUNCH DAY! Last year Beak's Mark and Tom flew over the US to hand select the hops from the fresh Yakima Chief harvest. And we are very excited to introduce their first beers showcasing these hops in different varieties as FIELDS, a limited edition trio of beers using the fresh Idaho-7, Citra and Mosaic from the latest Yakima Chief Hops harvest. A DDH Pale, An IPA and a DIPA. They are going to be MEGA!!!

YEAH! Well, that was a bit of a week wasn't it? Old Skool Meets New School Tasting and showcase wen't down a storm! With you all loving the new takes on classic British styles with a little bit of Belgian Trappist wizardry thrown in. It's LAST CALL on what's left of those beers so get in this Weds or Thursday to make sure you have a glug. Album Club was a corker with good chats and good tunes. If you're into music check out the next one - it really is a lovely affair. The weekend was a belter too and props to Gem for running things and Scott and Jude jumping in where they could. TEAM TEAM TEAM!

This week we've got the cans from those Groovy Catz Beak, new beers from Burning Sky, Iron Pier and Sunken Knave to name but a few. Our Gin And Tonic will be flowing at the weekend and we'll be doing some of our new delicious wines by the glass too. YEAH!

You know the score... some of Old Skool Meets New Skool beers on the taps...

LAST CALL on the Hand Brew Co x Elusive colab Handheld, if you miss it on draught we still have a few cans. We've another local hero the Mighty Sunken Knave with their collaboration with Glasgow's Simple Things Fermentation and a beer made to mimic the IPAs of the Victorian era. A Burton Ale left in a barrel with special Rodenbach yeasts to create the most wonderful rich IPA Funk hybrid. It's amazing. And a Beer No Evil exclusive in Worthing. We also have the delight that is Old World from Burning Sky, this is an Old Ale with a New World twist as it is aged in American Toasted Oak chips to give it a sweet smooth finish. And we are lucky to be pouring Westmalle Due - a Draft ONLY Trappist beer blending Westmalle's 4% Extra with their Tripel to magnificent effect.

And finally Sussex lovelies Only With Love have teamed up with our mates at Iron Pier on this pintable West Coast Pale - again a LAST CALL - but we have cans too. Oh man, WHAT a list!

Sippin on my... Gin and Tonic. We have worked with our local distillery Slake to create the perfect Indie Gin and Tonic. We've paired Slakes Alexander Gin, their first recipe to use exclusively British native & naturalised flora. A distinctive & finely balanced herbal gin celebrating the green, resinous flavour of Sussex Alexanders. With Navas Original Tonic Water a wonderfully crisp Original tonic boasts an abundance of citrus with floral neroli and aromatic bergamot, blended with the bitterness of quinine and woody notes from the cinchona bark.

It was easy to work with Slake as we'd already met Tom and knew their values and ethos but looking for an Independant Tonic wasn't easy. But through one of our distributors we found Navas Premium Botanical Mixers made by a small producer in Cornwall; they donate a proportion of every sale to the Eden Project, where many of their botanicals are grown.

Big thanks to Tom at Slake, our resident cocktail expert Jude - watch this space for more indie cocktails incoming, and Navas tonic. It's a beauty, and only available at weekends at the moment.

Brothers and sisters... and everyone else those groovy cats from MARS has hit the fridges. We have three lovelies. An amped up version of their Clamp Koelship IPA at 6.5%, a delightful Smoddy black lager bock hybrid and a Helles. All a treat. All very limited in the fridges. YEAH!

You know the score... Thanks to everyone that came to our Old Skool meets New Skool tasting last night. Some amazing styles, from a New Style Scottish light ale to a replica of an old Burton Ale with Rodenbach Grand Cru influences, to an IPA hopped entirely with new UK hops. It was a great night. Big thanks to Henry Kirk for the insights and his amazing knowledge of all things beer. We finished the night with Henry's Strong Pale Ale Boffle at 10.5%. Bottle Conditioned and an exclusive for us on the night. Once we can we'll have this beauty for resale! Cheers gang!

Big up the crew for a fab week. Sun hit the terrace early Sunday Evening. Those crazy Beer No Evil Terrace Times will be on us soon! It was Gareth's 50th and drinks flowed over the weekend. We were joined by Gareth's DJ partners on Saturday and Sunday, plans are a foot for them to bring their vinyl next time. Danno delivered one of his delicious cakes which everyone wolfed down! We also had visitors all the way from sunny Lancaster. Earlier in the week, Homebrew Club was excellent, a small but perfectly formed group drinking delicious brews. And Tap Takeover venues were announced!

This week sees us kick off with our Old Skool Meets New Skool tasting. Don't panic if you don't have a ticket we'll be showcasing some of the beers this week. And they are Ace! And our curated Gin and Tonic with Slake hits the bar. See you at there...
