Good morning, a little request as we get into a nice, busy period, with more people coming in the shop & Post Office. We totally understand that sometimes breakages happen from things being knocked off shelves, this is not a problem - it is part of running a shop. However please, let me know & don't pretend things just jumped off the shelf at you - that doesn't usually happen & it makes me cross when people lie to me. Thanks 😊

Now we've had the 1st snow & we're past the middle of November, it seems acceptable to mention Christmas!
We've got a great selection of Gifts, calendars, advent calendars, chocolates, mulled wine, biscuits, cards, wrapping paper & much more in stock 🎄

Vacancy at the Hanley Swan Village Stores
Unfortunately, due to our new employee having been unable to secure suitable accommodation locally, we are again looking for a new member of staff.
The role is working in the shop and the Post Office. No experience is necessary, but a careful, conscientious person, confident in counting money, measuring parcels and dealing with the public would be ideal.
We are a small, friendly team & we all muck in to do any job. This is an active role due to frequent deliveries, stock replenishment and handling customer parcels.
Hours available are either Tuesday-Friday 1.30pm-5.30pm (16 hours) or
Tuesday-Friday 1.30pm-5.30pm & Saturday 12.30pm-4.00pm (19.5 hours)
Over 18 only due to Post Office & alcohol & to***co sales
