We love Bell'aja Bolgheri £26.80 - glorious brambly fruit with that trademark savoury spice and tannic structure and just a dash of sour cherry acidity on the finish. If you're eating beef on New Year's day this wine would be a great choice for your table as the food will really make the dark berry fruit in this wine shine! New: Berlucchi Franciacorta Saten £36.70, bottled at a slightly lower pressure the bubbles in this fizz have a 'satin-like' texture which perfectly freshens up the lightly peachy fruit of the fizz. Delicately biscuity, this traditional method fizz went down well at our Winter Wine Fair! We are here until a little after 3pm for any last minute purchases. ******er
