We now have a new phone number, to replace our old land line. This number is not going to be set up on Google or other search engines to avoid the quantity of spammy/scammy calls we get. People/genuine companies who need to contact us already have details. It will be just here, within our details and is 07350275226 :D

From midnight tonight we will no longer have a telephone land line available for you to call us. BT are preparing our system for their digitalisation and, because we receive countless spam calls during the course of the day, mainly from abroad so the Telephone Preference Service does not stop them, we have decided to do away with the land line altogether. We will have a mobile number available shortly but if you need a reminder of our opening hours, they can always be found on this page or by Googling Meiklejohns Confectioners or you can message us through the page.
UPDATE 1.4.25 We have removed the land line phone number from this page and from our Google presence, it will remain on some others as the site owners are the ones who add or remove content. A mobile contact number will be available shortly.

A little off the sweetie topic, we have 6 Canon Pixma printer ink cartridges for sale, all sealed although one is not boxed. £5 each or £25 the lot. Our printer died and these, previously bought for it, do not fit the replacement.

Why are these pups looking happy and smiling? Because they know what’s arrived and will be out for sale from about 6pm today. Their very own ice cream! So many pet owners buy a small amount of vanilla ice cream as a treat for their dogs and now they can do it, knowing this has been made especially for the pups in their lives. Look what's available on Wick High Street!

If you fancy a little flutter and would like to support Wick Academy FC or Wick Thistle FC at the same time, you can get their draw tickets from us, £1 a go. WAFC prize is £7,000 this week, Thistle is £1,400. You just choose your 5 lucky numbers from 15 for WAFC and 5 from 20 for Thistle. The draws are every Monday. Tickets MUST be with us by 5 pm Mondays to ensure you are in the draw for that day.
